A CAIRNEYHILL man carried out a sustained attack on his partner, punching her and twice knocking her to the ground.
Nikki Cochrane pursued the woman and assaults took place at three different locations.
He then acted in an aggressive and threatening manner when he was holding a meat cleaver.
The incident resulted in Cochrane, 32, of Fairley Court, appearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 7 at Brora Place, Arkaig Drive and Rannoch Drive, all Crossford, he assaulted his partner, seized her by the body and pushed her, causing her to fall and strike her head on a radiator, punched her on the head and body, pursued and pushed her, causing her to fall to the ground, all to her injury.
He also admitted that on the same day at an address in Brora Place, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, acted in an aggressive manner to a man whilst in possession of a meat cleaver and refused to leave the premises.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Cochrane will be sentenced on December 13.
