A DUNFERMLINE man has appeared in court after injecting heroin into the arm of another male.
Mark Anderson, 28, of Nethertown Broad Street, admitted the offence.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, he pleaded guilty to a charge that on September 16 at an address in Craigmyle Street, Dunfermline, he culpably, recklessly and with utter disregard to the consequences inserted a hypodermic needle into the arm of a male residing there and injected him with a substance believed to be diamorphine, all to his injury.
Sheriff Chris Shead called for reports and Anderson will return to court for sentencing on January 17.
