WORK has now been completed and the opening date for Scotland's first drive-through bakery in Dunfermline has been set.
Construction of the Stephens outlet at the Black Douglas Services in Rumblingwell is now finished, meaning steak bridie fans will soon be able to pick up their treats on the move.
The opening date is Thursday, January 18.
The facility was given planning permission in April 2016, and will include a single-storey drive-through store and 20 parking spaces at the former petrol station, which has not been used for several years.
The petrol station shop and car wash were both demolished and the petrol tanks were removed.
No baking will take place on site, as this will be carried out at Stephens' factory in Rosyth, and its proposed deliveries will be carried out by van and take place outside opening hours.
