BLIND Summit are all set to launch their debut EP in PJ Molloys tonight (Friday).

The young four-piece are committed to making their mark in Dunfermline's thriving music scene.

Last year was their first as a band, and they're eager to start 2018 on the front foot with Horizon, their five-track EP.

The release includes two fan favourites in the form of The Build Up Song and Telephone, while also featuring Praying For Our Presence, The Vixen and Accusations.

Ryan Connor (drums and vocals) told the Press: "2018 is the year we plan to expand. Once this headliner is done we plan on scavenging as many gigs outside of Fife as possible and really pushing our name around Scotland.

"We are taking it slow and steady, as it works for us, but we're hoping by the summer to get involved in a festival or two if possible!

"We are really proud of Horizon. There's always going to be little imperfections we find, but that happens when you listen to a song over and over again so we didn't wanna over do anything!"

Support for their PJ's headline comes from Messed Up Youth, Jacob McDonough, The Plastic Mac and Underneath The Lights.

Tickets cost £5 on the door and via www.ticketweb.co.uk.
