Weather disruption has been causing traffic chaos in Dunfermline town centre this morning (Wednesday).
St Margaret's Drive is at standstill because of hazardous icy conditions.
Vehicles are moving down the steep hill at a snail’s pace which is causing more gridlock at Sinclair Gardens roundabouts.
Loui Burns on Facebook said her drive from Rosyth Dockyard to Wellwood was "traumatic" at 6.30am.
She said: "Skiing on the roads the road up past the train station towards the police station was a nightmare !!!!! Then getting into wellwood... even bigger nightmare !!!! Just glad I've got 5 days off now to recuperate!"
Buses are also struggling in the conditions with delays caused by queues.
Dunfermline Bus Services all delayed due to road conditions and traffic queues. Apologies for the delays.

Stagecoach have warned passengers to allow for extra time for their journey.
A spokesperson said: "We are currently doing everything we can to ensure our services operate as normal.
"However, due to the hazardous weather we are experiencing, it may
be possible that some services are delayed or diverted due to the poor road conditions. Please allow extra time for your journey."
