A DUNFERMLINE man John Clark was in hot water this week after deliberately flooding a home.
Clark, 49, of Beatty Place, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He had previously admitted that on June 29 last year at a house in the town's Calaiswood Crescent, he maliciously unscrewed a sink drainage fitting, turned on a tap and left the tap running causing the kitchen and living room to flood and causing damage to floor coverings and household items.
On the same date and place, he also stole two motorbike helmets.
Sheriff Craig McSherry placed Clark on a community payback order with a supervision requirement for six months to allow him to engage with addiction services.
He also ordered him to pay compensation of £280.
