AN ELDERLY lady in her seventies was robbed by a drug addict she “befriended”.
Kari-Anne Brown, 27, of Queensferry Road, Rosyth, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that between November 22 and 23 at an address in Inverkeithing, she stole £500.
Defence solicitor Jonathan Matheson-Dear said: “She has a long-standing heroin problem and her life was in a certain degree of chaos.
“The victim is an elderly lady who befriended her. It was an opportunistic offence.”
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Brown will be sentenced on June 13.
