Police presence in Pitcorthie after reports of a man with shotgun
A heavy police presence descended on Pitcorthie yesterday (Wednesday) after reports of a man in possession of a shotgun.
Neighbours said police vans, forensic tents and an army bomb squad van were present outside a property in the area.
Police have confirmed the death of a man but are treating the incident as unsuspicious.
They said the in the incident happened in the Oak Grove area of Dunfermline, beside Pitreavie Golf Club, at around 12.40pm on Wednesday, June 6.
