POLICE have launched an appeal for information to trace a man reported missing from the Dunfermline area.

Joshua Gregory, 27, was last seen at 9pm on Saturday June 30 on the B958 near Errol, and has not been in contact with family since 7am on Monday July 2, which is described as being out of character.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and have appealed to the public to help establish his whereabouts.

Joshua, who is from the Dunfermline area, is described as black, with shaved dark hair, and has tattoos on both of his arms.

He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black Nike t-shirt, and is known to wear green and black beads on his right wrist.

Sergeant Kenny Greig, of Dunfermline Police Station, said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Joshua's welfare and are eager to trace him as soon as possible.

"Joshua is known to frequent the Dundee area, particularly the Lochee locality, as well as travelling throughout Fife, Tayside, Grampian and Northern areas of Scotland.

"I would urge anyone who may have seen Joshua, a man matching his description, or his vehicle to contact us immediately.

"In addition, anyone with information that can help us trace his whereabouts is asked to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
