A young boy has been hit by a car on Townhill Road in Dunfermline.
Police were called to the scene at around 12.50pm this afternoon (Friday).
It's believed that the boy, aged 8, ran out behind a bus and was hit by a Peugeot 208.
Police have confirmed that he has been taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy although his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A spokesperson said there was no further police action required.
