A DUNFERMLINE man who served a jail term last year has appeared back in court after making threats of violence.
In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court was Craig Mills, 24, of Maitland Street.
He admitted that on various occasions between February 27 and March 6 he engaged in a course of conduct which caused a man fear or alarm by telephoning him, repeatedly sending text messages, left voicemails and repeatedly shouted, swore and made threats of violence towards him and his property.
Defence solicitor James Moncrieff said his client had been released from a jail sentence in February last year.
“The main issue causing him to offend has been alcohol misuse,” he added.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Mills will be sentenced on August 29.
