EDUCATION bosses admit occupancy at Woodmill High School "remains a concern."
Fife Council's education chief, Shelagh McLean, said: "Projections continue to show significant pupil growth in the area.
"A decision on the proposal to rezone the catchment areas of the four secondary schools will be reached on 18th September following the submission of the final consultation report to the education and children’s services committee.
"In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the school rolls and placements in the Dunfermline and West Fife area over the coming months."
Back in March, members of Fife Council’s education and children’s services committee voted unanimously to take fresh proposals – which would see the re-zoning of Kings Road and Camdean primaries to Inverkeithing High School – to statutory consultation.
The plans came to the table after a previous option which would have seen Masterton Primary pupils go to Inverkeithing was thrown out by councillors.
