A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a house fire in West Fife.
Emergency services raced to the Stanley Terrace area of Oakley where the casualty was then taken by ambulance for treatment.
Police were called to the scene at around 7pm and it is understood that three fire appliances were also in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.10pm on Tuesday, 21 March, to a report of a house fire in the Stanley Terrace area of Oakley, Dunfermline.
“Emergency services attended and a 55-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment."
