A singer-songwriter from South Queensferry will be playing at Dunfermline’s Fire Station Creative next weekend.
Ayla Ersoy (22) has already secured a residency at The Jazz Bar in Edinburgh where she sings and plays piano with the support of a full band.
Ayla, who is half Turkish, said: “I’m influenced by artists who express their deepest emotions and write from the soul… My songs hold a lot of truth and feeling. I write about love, heartbreak, growth and life. I wish to share my music and really make people feel.”

Her performance at Fire Station Creative (FSC) will take place on Saturday, December 23 from 9-11pm.
Ian Moir, director of FSC, said: “Ayla is a charismatic performer with a voice you can’t forget. She’s also a gifted musician and an accomplished songwriter, so we’re naturally thrilled to have her come here. Her talent stands out and it’s obvious she has a very bright future in the music industry.”
Some of Ayla’s own songs will be performed as well as numbers from Carol King, Sade, Noah Jones, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Eva Cassidy.
There is no entry fee for this event.
