An Inverkeithing dance school is preparing to head to the Dance World Cup in Prague this summer.
New Movement Dance Company, which trains in Ballast Bank, are heading to the Czech Republic's capital in June to compete against other dancers from across the world.
The dancers range in age from five to 24 and they will be performing different of types of dance, including lyrical, jazz, show dance, and acrobatic dance. The dancers auditioned before Christmas.
The dance school has auditioned for the Dance World Cup before. As previously reported in the Press, nine West Fife dancers went to Spain in 2022 to take part in the prestigious competition.

Stacey Anderson, who runs New Movement, said: “The results came through just before Christmas, 43 qualifiers, pretty much each child that entered qualified in something.
“We were over the moon because everyone’s getting to go now.”
The dancers will be away for the competition from June 27 for ten days and they are currently training in preparation.
“They are working really hard, even the wee ones," said Stacey. "It’s been really good.”
Speaking of the competition, Stacey said: “It runs over ten days but the first part of the week is juniors and the second part is seniors. The older girls are flying out early to watch the wee ones.
“It’s really special that they have got each other.”
