Vehicles that operate with a contactless key are prone to this type of theft but the public can take the following measures to help prevent it; use a garage to secure your vehicle, keep your key in a Faraday Pouch (Defender Signal Blocker) to block its signal and use a Milenco high-security steering lock to prevent rotation and act as a visual deterrent.

Anyone with information on the stolen vehicle should call 101 and quote the reference number 0427 of 30/01.
