A woman was punched to the ground after an incident at a pub in Aberdour.
As a result, 19-year-old Owen Waterson, of Inchview Gardens, Dalgety Bay, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on 2nd December at Forester Arms, High Street, Aberdour, he assaulted a female by punching her on the face to her injury.
Then at Shore Road, Aberdour, he resisted and obstructed four police officers, ran away from them and repeatedly pulled his arms away, attempting to prevent the application of handcuffs.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson said Waterson was in the pub and his behaviour became more erratic as the night went on.

He had then become involved in an incident with a female which ended in him punching her.
She fell to the ground as a result and was seen there with a cut to her eye.
The police were called and Waterson ran off, pursued by the officers for up to 200 metres before he fell on ice and was put in handcuffs.
Defence solicitor Chris Sneddon said his client had reacted to being pulled by the hair.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a structured deferred sentence which will run until 1st May.
