Two boys have been identified after "multiple reports" of stones being thrown at vehicles near Inverkeithing Railway Station.
Police Scotland said the youths, aged 12 and 13, have been charged with culpable and reckless conduct.
A post from the South West Fife police said: "Two youths (aged 12 and 13) have been charged in connection with several counts of culpable and reckless conduct, following multiple reports of stones being thrown at vehicles near to Inverkeithing Railway Station.
"The relevant reports will be submitted."
