ENQUIRIES are ongoing over an incident which saw a heavy police presence at an address in Dunfermline.
Emergency services were called to an address in Aberdour Place on Thursday afternoon which resulted in a man being taken to hospital for assessment.
Witnesses reported on social media that the road was closed and several police vans were still in attendance at the scene at around 7.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.10pm on Thursday, 22 February, 2024, police were called to the Aberdour Place area of Dunfermline, following concern for a man within a property.
"Officers attended and the man was traced before being conveyed to hospital for assessment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
