A 17-year-old woman was approached by a man in Rosyth and offered money for sex.
The culprit was Davi Moura, 19, of Parkgate Apartments, Parkgate, Rosyth.
He appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court accompanied in the dock by a translator.
He admitted that on February 16 last year at Queensferry Road, Rosyth, he communicated indecently with a woman, aged 17, offering her payment for sexual intercourse.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “He’s deeply ashamed. He’s certainly aware of how wrong it was.”
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with a year of supervision. Moura was also put on the sex offenders register for the same period.
