A 50-year-old chef has been ordered to do unpaid work for domestic abuse offences against his former partner.
Philip Birrell, of McGrigor Road, Rosyth, admitted that on various occasions between May 1, 2017 and March 31, 2019, at his home, at a care home in Dunfermline, and elsewhere, he called her derogatory names and showed an intimate image of his then partner to her employer.
He appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision and 225 hours of unpaid work.
She also imposed a non-harassment order for two years.
