WEST FIFE's Guide Dog fundraising group made every cuppa count at their Dunfermline events last month.

The group held two of their annual 'Make Every Cuppa Count' events in the city on Tuesday, April 23, and invited the public along to hear all about the work they do.

Their first event was held at The Sweet Chestnut in the Leisure Park while the second was held at The Haberdashery Bistro on New Row.

Group coordinator, Karen Donnachie, said: "Every year Guide Dogs hold their Make Every Cuppa Count events in April where we invite members of the public, service users with their working guide dogs, volunteers, ambassador dogs and supporters to come along for a cuppa and a chat.

Dunfermline Press: The Make Every Cuppa Count event was a success.

"This year, we held two events, one at The Sweet Chestnut in the morning and one at The Haberdashery Bistro in the late afternoon.

"People can then hear about how Guide Dogs support service users and the different services that we provide.

"We had a good turnout that included Deputy Lord Lieutenants, Vice Lord Lieutenants and local councillors. It gave us a chance to highlight issues such as pavement parking accessibility issues and broken and raised pavements within West Fife.

"All of these issues have a huge impact on someone with sight loss."
