MARIE CURIE’S Dalgety Bay Fundraising Group will be holding their annual Blooming Great Tea Party today (Saturday).
The event takes place at Dalgety Parish Church, on Regents Way, from 2-4pm, and members are calling on West Fifers to join them, then get together with friends and family to host their own Blooming Great Tea Party between June 20-29.
Marie Curie’s summer fundraising campaign raises vital funds for the charity, which provides care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their families. Tea parties across the UK have raised more than £4.5 million since the campaign started in 2008.
Jennifer Gale, community fundraiser at Marie Curie, said: “Every pound raised will help Marie Curie Nurses care for someone living with a terminal illness in Fife and their family.”
