DALGETY Bay pensioner John Falconer was the winner of Fife Cultural Trust’s National Libraries Day competition – receiving a prize of a tablet computer on his 82nd birthday.
John was given a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 on Thursday by Fife Cultural Trust head of customer services and external relations, Laurie Piper.
National Libraries Day hit Britain on 7th February with library users in Fife expressing their appreciation of the services libraries offer with messages that described why they love their library, information services and the professionals behind them. Mr Falconer’s name was drawn from all of the people who responded in person or on social media to the statement, “I love my library because ...”
