British Transport Police have just released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in relation to an assault on a 71-year-old man at Dalgety Bay railway station.

They believe he may have information which could assist their inquiries into the attack on the pensioner, which happened just before 9.30pm on Saturday 11th April. The victim had travelled on a train from South Gyle.

The man in the photographs is described as being about 5ft 8in in height, aged in his early 40s, medium build, short black hair and wearing a blue checked shirt, blue hooded jacket and shorts.

Detective Constable Donna Davanna, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, said, “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the photographs to contact me as a matter of urgency.” Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 – quoting reference B13 of 2015.
