POLICE are appealing for information after a rock was chucked at a car with kids inside at Duloch Park in Dunfermline.
The incident occurred around 1pm at Nightingale Place on Sunday July 3. The rock was thrown at the blue Toyota Auris, driven by a woman who had two children in the car.
The rock struck the front windscreen – it caused a chip but the glass did not break. The woman and children were shaken but were not injured.
Inspector Ian Flynn, of Dunfermline Police Station, said: “This was extremely reckless conduct which could have caused an accident and injury to the occupants of the car, and those nearby.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
