FLORAL tributes have been left to a former Dunfermline bar manager killed tragically in a car crash near High Valleyfield.

A large collection of bouquets have been left outside Monty's Bar for Sharon Smith, who lost her life as a result of the crash at 2.30am last Sunday.

Gavin Bassett, general manger at Monty's, told the Press last week that the 29-year-old was "loved by everyone", adding: "She's going to be missed by a lot of people very much."

The bar paid an emotional tribute to her on its Facebook page.

The tribute read: "It is with a heavy heart and tear-filled eyes that we are saddened to learn of Sharon Smith's passing.

"When we first opened up, Sharon joined us, one of the originals, and we can say with total sincerity that from that point on, she was a huge defining factor of where we are today. For this we will forever be in her debt.

"But she was so much more than just an employee/manager, she was like family to us all; fellow staff and customers alike, genuinely don't think anybody had a bad word to say about her.

"She touched the life of all of us here at Monty's and leaves a huge hole in our hearts but we can all agree we are proud to have called her a friend whom we all loved and we will all miss her endlessly.

"Our thoughts are with her family and closest friends during this incredibly tragic time."
