FUNNYMAN Alan Davies is making his way to the Carnegie Hall in April for one night only.

Best known as a regular QI panellist and for his time as an amateur sleuth on Jonathan Creek, Davies is a comedian, writer and actor who has been ever-present on the nation's screens for years.

With TV having taken priority over his stand up in recent years, Alan came back from a 10 year hiatus to bring his tours “Life is Pain” in 2012, and “Little Victories” in 2013, to sell out audiences.

His unique wit and charm won him Time Out Best Young Comic in 1991 and since then he has not lost any of his magic.

The set is introduced by Scott Gibson, winner of Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, who’s style compliments Alan’s in an excellent way.

The Essex-born Davies is part of That’s Fife! Comedy Festival which will see comics including Russell Kane, Chris Ramsey and Burniston’s Iain Connell & Robert Florence all making their way to Fife this May.

He will performing at the Carnegie Hall on Friday April 14 at 8pm.

Tickets are £17/£15 plus a £1 booking fee and can be purchased at onfife.com or through the box office 01383 602302.
