LAUGHS will be had in Dunfermline next month as two funnymen take to the Carnegie Hall stage.

As part of this year’s That’s Fife Festival, comedian Alan Davies will perform a unique one-night performance on Friday, April 14.

Best known as a regular QI panellist and for his time as an amateur sleuth on detective series Jonathan Creek, he is a comedian, writer and actor who has been present on the nation’s screens for years.

With TV having taken priority over his stand-up in recent years, Alan came back from a 10-year hiatus to bring his tours, ‘Life is Pain’, in 2012, and ‘Little Victories’, in 2013, to sell-out audiences.

The set is introduced by Scott Gibson, winner of Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, whose style complements Alan’s in an excellent way.

Award-winning radio and TV presenter and DJ Grant Stott stepped down from his popular daytime radio show on Forth 1 – which he had hosted for the past 17 years – to take his 2016 Edinburgh Fringe hit solo show on the road.

Tales From Behind The Mic is directed by long-time collaborators Andy Gray and Ryan Dewar and produced by The Gilded Balloon.

The newly-extended and restructured production will tour venues across Scotland including the Carnegie Hall on Friday, April 28.

With a mix of funny, awkward and embarrassing stories, outrageous video clips and offensive reactions on social media and his own cult songs, Stott lifts the lid on his 27-year journey in radio, TV and panto.

Tickets for both shows are available from the Carnegie Hall on: 01383 602302 or online via: www.onfife.com
