In the run up to Easter weekend St Leonard's Church in Dunfermline will be open each day for quiet reflection.
A spokeswoman explained: "Many of us enjoy visiting churches when on holiday and really value the chance to sit quietly – we don’t really get many chances in Scotland."
The church in Brucefield Avenue, which is over 100 years old with a distinctive pencil tower and colourful apse, is worth a visit and will be open from today (Monday) until Friday between 10am and noon.
Rev Monika Redman, the minister at St Leonard's, said: "In the busyness of every day life to find moments of peace is as good for us as a holiday."
St Leonards's will celebrate Easter Sunday with a service in the church garden at 8.30am, followed by breakfast and then service at 10.15am.
