WITH names that go together like Mary and Joseph, one Crombie couple seemed destined for a long and happy relationship.
Just ahead of Easter, Mr and Mrs Campbell celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary and walked down the aisle one more time.
Joseph, who originally hails from the Argaty Estate outside Doune, and Mary, who came from Causewayhead near Stirling, marked their 60 years of wedded bliss by renewing their vows.
The couple moved to Crombie 41 years ago when Joseph took up a job as a Ministry of Defence police dog handler.
They have two daughters, Dawne and Jennifer, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
When asked about the secret of a long and happy relationship, Mary said it was a matter of give and take.
Joseph added: βIt is care, love and understanding.β
After renewing their vows at Logie Kirk near Stirling, where they married in 1957, they enjoyed a family meal.
