A Dunfermline Veteran has been awarded France's highest honour for his service in the D-Day landings.
James Roe, was presented with the Legion d'Honneur by the French consulate Emmanuel Cocher at his home yesterday.
James was only 19 years-old when he landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6.
