POLICE are warning parents that groups of youths may be causing trouble this weekend.
In a message to Woodmill High School parents, headteacher Sandy McIntosh warned parents that police were alerting all secondary high schools that there could be issues with young people over the bank holiday weekend.
Police will have extra patrols to deal with the concerns.
The text message sent to parents read: "We felt it important to inform you, as parents, that the police have alerted all local secondary schools that there may be community issues in the Dunfermline area over the weekend involving young people.
"Police have indicated that they will have enhanced presence as a result."
