A DUNFERMLINE man and woman have appeared in court following violence which broke out in the town centre on Hogmanay.
Rebecca Donnelly, 19, of Blair Drive, admitted that on December 31 at Guildhall Street, she assaulted a woman.
She seized her by the hair, dragged her to the ground, repeatedly stamped on her head, repeatedly punched and kicked her on the head, all to her injury.
Also in the dock was Dylan Cameron, 20, of Nith Street.
He admitted assaulting a male by headbutting him on the face to his injury.
Sentencing on both of them was deferred until May 31 for reports.
