A 17-YEAR-OLD youth is behind bars after causing a disturbance at Dunfermline bus station on Friday night.
The Rosyth youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 2 at the bus station in Queen Anne Street, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by repeatedly shouting, swearing, challenging people to fight and uttering offensive remarks.
The court heard the incident occurred at 6.40pm. The teenager is already on four bail orders, a community payback order and a restriction of liberty order.
Sheriff Charles MacNair refused bail and remanded the youth in custody until he returns for sentencing on June 28.
Dunfermline bus station has been plagued with anti-social behaviour by youths recently.
Last month, three teenagers were in the dock at the sheriff court where they admitted being part of a group that targeted a woman for abuse, spitting on her and tripping her during a sickening incident captured on CCTV.
