MEMBERS of the Dunfermline Tartan Army handed over a winning cheque to Scottish Autism recently.
The group of like-minded football fans from Dunfermline and West Fife raised the money at their annual sportsman’s lunch.
Scottish Autism, which is based on the Pitreavie Business Park, plans to put the money towards a special trip.
Jim Ford, of the Dunfermline Tartan Army, said the donation was part of their ongoing fundraising efforts.
“They need funds for their annual camping trip in which they take some of their students away for a well-earned rest,” he said.
“These donations could not be achieved without the help and support from our friends in both the local business community and footballing world.
“The donations we receive for our raffles and auctions are invaluable to help us raise the money to support these charities and organisations.”
