A CAR crash on the Coal Road in Dunfermline this morning (Wednesday) has resulted in a man being taken to hospital.
Emergency services were called out at around 9.00am after the collision.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 0903 hours today to attend a road traffic collision on Coal Road in Dunfermline.
"We dispatched two ambulances, one paramedic response unit, a manager and our special operations response team to the scene.
“One male patient in his twenties was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.”
Police were in attendance at the scene at the bottom of the Glen Gates, along with ambulance staff and fire crews.
