THE first image in this week's trip down West Fife's Memory Lane shows Princess Diana being presented with a posy of flowers when she paid a visit to Dunfermline in 1991.
The second image is of an old post-inn, the City Arms Hotel, in Bridge Street in Dunfermline, in the early 20th century before it was later modernised and renamed The City Hotel. Other hotels of that period in the town were the St Margaret's Hotel, McGillivray's Hotel, the Union Hotel and the Royal Hotel.
