Ian Ferguson, who now stays in Freuchie, submitted these images for this week's trip down Memory Lane. He said: "This picture was given to me by my father whose own father played for the Mclean Primary School team in 1912-13. I too attended the school from 1965 until 1970. His name was Alexander Ferguson, he was a wee flying winger and in later days he also played for Dunnikier JFC, winning the Cowdenbeath Cup in 1927. He lived in Brucefield Avenue in Dunfermline worked, I believe, for a fruit merchant called Fraser and Carmichael near Abbot House when I was a kid! It's a rare old photo and, you never know, somebody may have others from that period. The other photo is from Starks Park and shows the Dunnikier team that won the Cowdenbeath Cup in 1927. My grandfather is in the front row, fifth on the right end. I don't know any of the other names but my father did say he played at some stage with Alex Venters, who played or Cowdenbeath, Rangers and Scotland."
