THE Carnegie Hall have celebrated the festive season with fun and thrills for eight decades and this year is no different.

With various stage performances and screen showings over the Christmas period at Dunfermline’s art deco theatre, there’s something for all the family as they host their own ‘A Tiny Little Christmas’ Festival.

Three bespoke theatre pieces will take place starting with Shhhh...The Elves Are Shy from Thursday 7 to Saturday 9. It has been especially designed for youngsters to interact with a very shy, but very special family within the historic building.

That is followed by The Attic from Tuesday 12 to Saturday 16. A sleepy attic comes to life as rummaging through old boxes leads to a trip down memory lane for Grandma and Lucy.

The last show is Little Ulla, on from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23. Little Ulla is a goat - and local postie - with a plan that she needs your help with.

After hearing the clockmaker isn’t going to get any Christmas cards this year, she’s now relying on you to help her give him a massive Christmas gift.

Cinema screenings of festive favourites such as Elf, Home Alone and It’s a Wonderful Life will also be shown at the theatre.

You can add to your Christmas experience with a Tiny Little Arts Workshop where tiny little hands can get Christmas crafty by making felt puppets and tiny pompoms. All events can be booked individually or with a festival ticket.

Workshops run from 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
