Dunfermline celebrated its most famous son on St Andrew's Day at the Scottish Parliament.
The annual Carnegie Days reception hosted by Visit Dunfermline and Bruce Crawford MSP, included guests from the world of business, arts, and politics, who gathered to celebrate the legacy of Andrew Carnegie.
The event reflected on the entrepreneurs continuing influence of his home town which is creating regeneration.
The US Consulate General, Susan Wilson, was also in attendance and commented on the strong links between Dunfermline and the US, forged and sustained by the Carnegie legacy.
Guest speaker Shriley-Anne Somerville MSP said: "The event was a great success and bodes well for Dunfermline as we celebrate our town's historic past and look forward to the future."
Well-known Fife faces such as singer Barbara Dickson and novelist Ian Rankin also attended the reception.
Guests were able to view the best of Dunfermline from Fire Station Creative's Ian Moir display on his Citizen Spire project and Lord Charles Bruce brought the historical sword of King Robert the Bruce into parliament for the first time.
