A RAZOR-SHARP fundraising campaign has led to Dunfermline man Graham Brady raising more than £2,000 for charity.

The dad-of-five gave up shaving last month to take part in the Movember challenge and even agreed to lose his eyebrows too!

He was inspired to raise money after his father, Graham Brady, was diagnosed with prostrate cancer and has boosted his total through bake sales at his work at Babcock Rosyth and donations made at a recent sportsman’s brunch at Inverkeithing Bowling Club.

With his total now at around £2,200, Graham, 55, said he has been overwhelmed with the response.

“I started off and I thought I would maybe make £200-300 and then I did some bake sales at work and it has been crazy over the last couple of weeks,” he said.

“My wife, Julia, had done all the baking so she will be glad to see the end of the bake sales but she has been encouraging me throughout.

“It has been quite personal. My dad is doing well. They caught it quite early and are able to keep a check on it so he has to go back every three months to check the levels in his blood.”
