A RUMPUS outside a nightclub resulted in a Dunfermline man being fined.
After being arrested Sean Catherell then started making threats to a police officer.
Catherell, 30, of Broomhead Drive, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 30, 2016 at Harlem, Bruce Street and at Dunfermline Police Station he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, making threats of violence towards police officers and others.
Depute fiscal Jane Rennie said that after being arrested and placed in a police cell, Catherell shouted to officers: “I’m going to batter all of you.”
Defence solicitor Gordon Martin said his client had been refused access to the nightclub and after a dispute had been put to the ground by door staff before police were called.
Sheriff Craig McSherry fined Catherell £300.
