Alloy wheels worth around £3,000 have been stolen from Volkswagen showrooms in Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.
The incidents occurred at Specialist Cars premises on consecutive nights with the Kirkcaldy premises in Caxton Place targeted on Wednesday and the Halbeath site hit ysterday evening.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Samantha Davidson, of Kirkcaldy CID, said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and we will be studying CCTV images in an effort to glean further information.
“However we are also keen to speak to anyone who can assist our inquiries.
“Meanwhile we would urge businesses and owners of high-value VW cars to take extra security precautions and, in particular, to fit locking wheel nuts to the car wheels.”
