DUNFERMLINE'S Bowplex is getting a £400,000 Hollywood makeover by its new owners.

Hollywood Bowl at Fife Leisure Park will be complete on March 9 and is currently being transformed into a new generation entertainment centre, whilst still being open for business.

As part of the rebrand, the centre’s interior is being redesigned and will feature new furniture and contemporary American décor and lighting.

As well as the centre’s 24 lanes, a Hollywood Diner will be serving up gourmet burgers and hotdogs, freshly-made shakes served in retro milk bottles, and signature desserts.

Joining the diner will be an American-style bar offering house speciality cocktails for those wanting to sit back and relax before or after a game.

Visitors will also be able to play in Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusement area which will feature industry-leading games such as Walking Dead and Scooby Doo Wheel and retro games like Crossy Road, Pacman and Space Invaders.

Jonny Reid, centre manager of Hollywood Bowl Dunfermline, said: “We can’t wait to give people the Hollywood Bowl experience.

“Whether customers are looking for something for the whole family, nights out with dates or mates, kids’ or adults’ birthday parties, work functions or simply an excuse to welcome the weekend – we have it covered.”

Customers can save money by booking early at hollywoodbowl.co.uk.

The centre is currently recruiting for a number of new roles. Visit bowlingcareers.co.uk for more information.
