He assaulted her then smashed up her home, throwing some of her possessions out of a window.

Thomson admitted that on April 16 last year, he breached bail by contacting his former partner at an address in Ballingry.

He further admitted that he wilfully or recklessly damaged property by throwing a vacuum cleaner and mirror out of a window, breaking them, smashed crockery and other household items, damaged furniture, threw bottles of liquid on the ground, smeared make-up over windows and smashed bottles of perfume.

Thomson returned to court the next day and was given an additional 22 weeks behind bars for offences in Rosyth by Sheriff Chris Shead.

He admitted that on March 4 at Sherbrooke Road he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by uttering a threat of violence towards a man and woman.

He also admitted shouting and swearing at police officers, repeatedly made racist and homophobic comments towards them and threatened them with violence.

In the dock beside him for this incident was Darren Johnstone, 27, of Floors Court, Glenrothes.

He admitted that in Sherbrooke Road, he resisted, obstructed or hindered six police officers, struggled violently with them and lashed out with his arms and legs.

He also admitted assaulting a female police constable by biting her on the hand.
