A DOMESTIC disturbance resulted in a Dunfermline man being arrested.
Joseph Mahady, 34, of Barrie Street, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 31 at Barrie Street he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, acted aggressively, shouted, swore at his partner and made a threat of violence.
The court heard that Mahady is already on a community payback order after a similar offence last year.
Sheriff Simon Collins called for reports and sentence was deferred until April 25.
Bail was granted but as Mahady had no alternative local address he will live in Kirkwall, Orkney, until sentencing.
