A SERIAL offender was back in the dock after stealing packets of football stickers from a Dunfermline store.
Claire Turnbull, 36, of Inchgarvie Crescent, Dunfermline appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court.
She admitted that on March 28, at Tesco, Winterthur Lane, she stole a quantity of alcohol.
She also admitted that on May 11, at the Co-op, Shamrock Street, she stole football stickers.
Although she admitted stealing the stickers, Turnbull said from the dock: “I have no memory of it.”
The court was told Turnbull, who has a background of drugs misuse, was earlier caught trying to steal two bottles of vodka by Tesco staff.
On the stickers theft, defence solicitor Chris Sneddon said: “She has no interest in football. She was in the shop with a male. He put the stickers in her jacket and she left with them.”
Sheriff Alison McKay, who had dealt with another case involving Turnbull just days before, warned her that the court’s patience would run out if she offended again.
The sheriff deferred sentence on Turnbull, who was already on six bail orders, until June 22 when she has other matters calling. Bail was again granted.
