BID company Dunfermline Delivers is pulling out all the stops to encourage shoppers to head into Dunfermline on Saturday 19th April for an exciting line-up of FREE events.

Beady-eyed little ones could snap up a prize if they manage to find 16 bunnies hidden in shop windows around town including premises on East Port, High Street, Kingsgate, Maygate and Bridge Street, New Row, Chalmers Street, James Street and Bonnar Street. Hand your entry form into the Kingdom FM stage by 2.15pm to be in with a chance of winning a great prize.

Kingdom FM will be hosting a roadshow outside Wetherspoons from 12-3pm with games, competitions and giveaways.

With a traditional Easter Bonnet parade at 1pm, there’s a chance to win a prize for the best design.

Emma Pauley, from Miss Pauley’s in Chalmers Street, will be running a pop-up Craft Fair and Lisa, from ‘Off with her Head’ Millinery, will be on hand to help the kids produce their own couture Easter Bonnet from 10am-5pm in the former Stead & Simpson shop opposite Marks & Spencer. Get there early to make your bonnet in time for the parade, which starts at 1pm. FREE event.

Street theatre includes the brilliant JP and his puppet jester mate, Mojo, between 12-4pm. A mixture of clowning, dance and illusion are to be expected. FREE event.

Children can also have fun on the inflatable rides at the Glen Gates from 12-4pm. Free event.

For lovers of literature, Simply Stories will be enthralling little ones with Easter Tales at Waterstone’s, Abbot House, Café Fresh, Grill 48 and the Kingsgate. This will take place throughout the day between 12-4pm. Free event.

Watch out for the Easter Bunny giving out chocolate treats.
