A 42-YEAR-OLD MAN has died in a fire at a flat in Dunfermline on Saturday morning.
Fire services were called to Sikbo Court at 10.59am where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three crews raced to the three-storey flats to extinguish the first-floor blaze.
Inquiries into the fire are still ongoing. A Scottish Fire Services spokesperson said, “One male casualty was removed from the building, two hose jets, four breathing apparatuses and three appliances from Dunfermline were called to the scene.
"The fire had been extinguished by 11.26am." More on this story to follow online and in Thursday's Press.
